The crew

A small outfit. One stretch of sand.

Emerald Sand Chair Co. is a made-up shop for this demo, independent on purpose. People staying in a beach house, cottage, or condo shouldn't spend the first hot hour dragging chairs down a walkover. A local crew sets the spot on the Gulf of America. You walk down.

A whole raised seafoam beach house on wooden pilings, with red-white-blue bunting on the screened porch, sea oats, a sabal palm, and emerald Gulf of America water along the Destin shore. Two crew members in matching green shirts, shorts, and sun hats, fully in frame, carrying folded beach chairs and a closed umbrella across sugar-white Destin sand, with sea oats and emerald water behind them.

Fictional crew for this demo. Names, faces, and prices are invented.

  • Mara Ellison

    Owner

Grew up between Fort Walton Beach and Destin. Started the company after one too many July walkovers with a chair knocking her ankles and a cooler melting on the dune.

  • Jo Pell

    Setup lead

Deckhand out of Destin Harbor before this. Reads the wind, knows which accesses get a shore-break by lunch, and will not plant an umbrella on a day it should stay on the truck.

  • The morning crew

    Four neighbors

Same people all season. They set, shift, and pull the gear. Not a rotating franchise van, and not a call center in another state.
